Marine biologist Judith Oakley explores and explains the diversity of British seashores in her new book Seashore Safaris. Through fantastic photography she aims to encourage people back to the shore and also help conserve this delicate ecosystem. This book has over 200 photographs, of sea creatures and their natural habitat. Judith explains how to find them, demonstrating how to lift boulders and replace them and what to look for. There are panels in the book for recording findings and details of how to submit them to the marine associations. The images in Seashore Safaris have been used by many national marine conservation organisations in their campaigns to help educate the public.
