Lisa Luce was a happy, healthy teenager who had a passion for dancing and an enthusiasm to try her best in whatever she did. She grew up with a love of life and a desire to succeed. At the age of fifteen her life took an unexpected turn into a tunnel of darkness and confusion.
Lisa entered into her first season of depression and anxiety and rapidly lost her motivation to live. For eighteen months she experienced severe mental health issues and felt alone, depressed and worthless. At the age of sixteen, Lisa attempted suicide. After visits to the emergency department and health professionals, Lisa’s parents no longer knew what to do.
Desperate, they decided to ask some family and friends to pray for God to perform a miracle in her life. Two months later, Lisa had an authentic and life-changing experience with God. She asked Jesus Christ into her life and has never been the same. Although the recovery process wasn’t always smooth, Lisa knew that it would be possible with God by her side.
