Rakuichi Nagahama, age sixteen, is a former soccer whiz, back from three years in Italy and now at Chikubushima Public High School. Rakuichi thinks he's quit soccer for good, but reunions with childhood friends, chance encounters with gorgeous blonde girls, and other events of this nature get him back on the field . . . or not . . .
