When teacher Carl Luskan conducts a creative writing course at an institute for troubled boys, he puts himself in the firing line of six dangerous teens.
Each of the students has a reason for being a patient at The Green Institute for Wayward Adolescents in Orange County, California. And each has the capacity to kill.
'Room One Nineteen' is a non-linear narrative composed of transcripts of Dictaphone notes, homework assignments, hand written notes and short stories.
It tells the story of Carl Luskan's death during the final class of Elementary Creative Thought, a writing course held in room 119 of The Green Institute. The mystery is unravelled by introducing the teenage writers of the course one by one, as their own stories are revealed through their creative writing.
Each student has a reason to harm Carl Luskan - but which boy will be revealed as the teacher's murderer?
