When youre an ex-cop and an ex-doper scratching a living as a private investigator in the scummy streets of South London, you take what work you can get. Even when its a dreary debt collection job for a toe rag used-car dealer. But when Nick Sharman collects the money due on a classic Bentley, he enters a new world. The world of a reclusive rock star huddled in his mansion (fitted with its own recording studio and firing range), brooding over his stolen royalties. When Sharman agrees to get the royalties back from a crooked manager, he becomes embroiled in a gangland war between rock n rolls godfathers and the Mafia, the likes of which London hasnt seen before.
