Roman Siege Works

Although sieges were an important part of classical
warfare, most attention in the past has been focused on
the siege train and its related engines, instead of the
structural evidence of field works raised during siege
operations. Using a wide range of archaeological evidence
form all parts of the Roman Empire (Britain, Spain,
Italy, ......
