A native of the sensuously beautiful Tuscany, Renato Tizzoni, waterworks man of the picturesque village of Sant'Angelo D'asso, has an infectious zest for life. Recently though, his rich and vibrant world has lost its piquancy. His best friend - who was his mentor and surrogate father - has recently died. His love struck teenage daughter has become a sullen stranger, and even his warm, passionate marriage has cooled down. To make matters worse, the beloved town that has been his home is about to change irrevocably.
Prompted by a dream, Renato searches to rediscover the flavour of life, a personal mission that sends him on a wondrous journey to the Vatican where, by chance, he finds a way to save his marriage, his family, and even his town.
