Blue is excited! She's starting Hardbake Plains' first-ever newspaper with her friends Mat and Ben.
The Bake Tribulation is an instant success, but Blue discovers that being an editor is not always easy. To make matters worse, her favourite teacher, Miss McKenzie, has run away to Scotland and been replaced by the Colonel, an ex Scout leader. And as if that wasn't enough, Blue's mum is dusting off the old boarding school uniform!
But Blue will not be defeated. She may not be able to control the press, but she might just have the perfect plan to get Miss McKenzie home.
