One day Raggedy Ann and Andy are playing by the Looking Glass River when they discover a magic wishing pebble. After wishing for a magic soda fountain for their friends, the Muskrats, they bury the pebble in the sand and set off to see if their wish came true. While they are gone the trickster, Minky, steals the pebble. With the help of the other animals, Raggedy Ann and Andy manage to get the pebble back so that they can once again wish good things for their friends. This charming tale has been adapted for the young picture book reader, and includes vibrant, new illustrations by Jan Palmer.
