Born in Hobart, Tasmania, Rachael is a qualified Professional Woolclasser. She has an Associate Diploma in Rural Business Administration from Orange Agricultural College, NSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Print Journalism). She is a practitioner of Low Stress Stockhandling, Working Dog Education and numerous awards in both the rural sector and literary field.
