This title explores the various debates surrounding World War I. As well as explaining the Western Front and describing events in the main text, the book consists of three different kinds of panels that appear throughout - the first examining events in question, the second examining key people (eg leaders), the third following the 'what if?' approach - for example, for this title, 'what if Britain had stayed out of the war?'
