By 2050, we will probably have used up all of the world's oil and most of its natural gas.
- Fossil fuels provide most of the energy used by the world's people.
- Every day, the fuel we use world-wide is equivalent to 20 million tonnes of oil.
- Wind generators could supply 20 per cent of our energy needs by 2050.
Most of the energy we use comes from burning fossil fuels, which cause pollution and are running out fast. But, if we act now, there is time to develop clean, renewable fuels for the future.
