This program is designed to correct pronunciation deficiencies with cassettes that explain rules and encourage practice. This course focuses on vowel sounds, diphthongs, syllable stress, and what seem to English-speakers, unusual Italian consonant combinations such as gli, gn, gh, ch, and others. There is extensive practice with words and sentences.
