Pride and Prejudice
Pride and Prejudice is personally one of my favourite novels, and certainly the most popular of Jane Austens books. The writing is witty and even hilarious at times, bringing to life some of the most memorable characters of all time, from the overbearing Lady Catherine to the sweeter-than-sugar Jane Bennet. The best thing about this story, though, is the beauty, complexity, and reality of the relationship between the two romantic leads. Through it, they learn about themselves and about each other, thoroughly earning their place on the list of Greatest Fictional Couples in History. This is a must-read for anyone who loves romance, drama, classic literature, or happiness in general. Its certainly less tragic than Romeo and Juliet. Reviewed by Danielle Eatock
