This book is the true story of the first fifty years of Elizabeths Moldovans life. As the middle child of a large immigrant family, she watched her father suffer terribly from cancer when she was eight years old, until he passed away when she turned nineteen. Elizabeth experienced poverty, neglect, abandonment and rejection and then stepped into the darkness of drug addiction.

For twenty-four years she lived a life of depravity and destruction whilst trying to raise her five children. After twenty four years of using heroin and methadone everyday she became homeless, disorientated, delusional and finally suicidal. Her skin was bleeding, she weighed fifty kilos, had no money, car, phone or friends so then she turned to God for help. With no rehab, psychiatrists, counsellors or meetings of any kind and with her three year old daughter by her side the entire time, she became clean and sober and remains so to this day.

Elizabeth has documented her journey and her prayer is that it gives insight and hope to everyone who is affected either directly or indirectly by addiction of any kind. Change is possible and there is freedom on the other side.
