'Pigs and Honey' tells of a day in the life of the Aboriginal community at Aurukun, a town on Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland. It is the sort of story the people there like to tell each other. Members of the Aurukun community have endorsed the publication of this book and are pleased that children throughout Australia can now read about how the people of Aurukun enjoy their way of life on their own land.
