The Lightning Thief is an extremely amusing book for all ages that has a bit of everything in it. From its funny chapter titles to the general craziness the characters find themselves stuck in, this book teaches greek mythology subltley through the insane quests and adventures the demigods go through, taking the reader with them every step of the way. - Hannah (QBD)

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
The Lightning Thief is certainly an electric start to the Percy Jackson series and an entertaining introduction into the world of Greek Gods and ancient monsters. The characters are perfect, the dialogue is supreme and there is never a dull moment when reading this novel. It's a must read for fantasy lovers looking for a new series to start. Reviewed by 01bh.

This novel was defiantly a gift from the Gods pun intended. It was an all round great read with a great story line that was easy to follow and just as easy to get hooked on. I couldn't put this book down It is a gripping read with suspense, adventure and action - this book has got it all. Reviewed by 30tw
