In his work, Guy Leclef always aims to find the essence, purity and simplicity of things. His signature eye for detail turns his art with paper into an experience. You could even refer to it as poetic recycling. At the same time, his paper collages always contain a fair amount of humour, hinting at everyday life. Pieces of paper used as paint, thick or paper-thin strokes, queer, impregnated, cut and glued. They're all used as the raw materials for Leclef's art.
