Out of Hand: Materialising the Digital is an exploration of art, craft, design and science in the light of ever-evolving technologies, processes and materials. Such technological advances are changing the way we conceive of and work with materials, and blurring boundaries. The results are opening up exciting relationships between art and innovation, materials and techniques.
The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences brings together the work of almost 60 international artists, architects, designers and scientists, from fields as diverse as sculpture, furniture, fashion, transport and medicine.
