In this book we will explore many of the marine ecosystems and species that make our oceans so biologically rich. It is impossible to explore and explain every niche habitat in 160 pages. However, the intention of this work is to open young readers minds to some of the main marine ecosystems which are found around the world. As we journey through the world's different marine environments and habitats, many of the occupant animals and plants are briefly documented and accompanied general conservation indicators.
