AUTHOR: Samantha Wheeler was born in London, England and grew up in Africa. She studied at the Queensland Writer's Centre completing The Year of the Novel and The Year of the Edit. Her short story, Second Letter A, was published in the 2011 anthology of One Book Many Brisbanes. Smooch and Rose was her first children's novel. Her other books are Sound and Charli, Mister Cassowary, and Everything I've Never Said. Shannon Horsfall is an author and illustrator based in Australia but living in fairyland. She has published picture books including Was Not Me, Nomax, and illustrated Dear Santa and My Unicorn Farts Glitter.
