The band fused the aggression of Detroit punk with the bubblegum polish of pop and the bombast of glam to create a sound with attitude, energy and addictive tunes. Their road-dog mentality and fierce live shows garnered them a legion of devoted follows, but simultaneously caused the band to pay a heavy price, both physically and emotionally.
