Odyssey House is a residential rehabilitation program committed to helping young people overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol.
Formed in 1977 by Sydney businessman Walter McGrath, whose son James had died of a heroin overdose, the program allows the young people to find themselves and their self esteem and to then integrate and contribute to the community at large.
Published to coincide with the centre's 30 year anniversary, this book contains inspiring stories from past participants of the program, male and female, who tell us of their struggles to conquer addiction and how they broke the cycle. It shows us the hope and strength that is within everyone and how Odyssey House and its programs can help.
