Oakie, a young Blue Heeler pup, is supposed to be delivered to Texas, USA, but through a courier bungle he ends up in Texas, Queensland in Outback Australia. Follow his adventures in this brand new series. Oakie is quickly befriended by Action Dann and they embark on a series of adventures, meeting many wonderful and quirky characters in the rugged and unique beauty of the Australian Outback. Oakie along with his new friend, relives many of the poems and stories from A.B. 'Banjo Paterson' and Henry Lawson that define the Australian culture. Action Dann is the young man from Snowy River and with his best friend Oakie on his hardy mountain pony they leap down a cliff to chase the herd of wild horses. Can they bring them back to the station safe and sound?
