Bamforth Co was founded in the late 19th century and by the end of World War I, more than 20 million postcards were being produced each year selling all over the world. Bamforth quickly became the world's largest publisher of saucy, comic postcards, with captions and images to suit all ages. "Not a Care in the World" celebrates the golden age of comic postcards with a collection of iconic images of large and lovely ladies, henpecked husbands and saucy seaside humour. There has been fantastic interest in Bamforth products and many licenses have been issued over the past couple of years to re-establish the brand, with a multitude of merchandise being produced from cushions to seaside rock, mouse mats to fridge magnets and, of course, to reprint limited editions of the iconic postcards.
