No More Kisses is a humorous short story for children between the ages of 3 to 8 years. This story depicts that time in a young child's life when they feel that kisses are overrated, particularly the ones that they receive from their nearest and dearest. Sam wakes up on his fifth birthday and decides that he no longer needs or wants kisses. Knowing too well of the copious amounts of unwanted kisses that await him on his special day, what better day to start his 'no kisses' rule? Sam is determined to escape his family's sticky, prickly, smelly and hairy kisses. Sam dodges, ducks, weaves and flees his relentless family but comes unstuck by a flight of stairs and big shoes. Trapped in a hospital bed feeling very sorry for himself and with no way of escaping, Sam's diligent family members visit him and are able to plant their snotty, wet, tickly smooches on him. One by one, these kisses, pecks and snogs all help to lift his spirit and warm his heart.
