The Contessa di Diablo is head of the Order, an organisation devoted to Madrofh, demonic Mistress of Lust. At an archaeological site in the West Country, the search is on to recover a fabled chalice, possession of which will allow the Contessa to unleash a tidal wave of depravity across the world. Tamara Knight and Max Creed are agents for Omega, a secret government body charged with investigating the occult. As they enter a twilight world of perverse practices and unspeakable rituals, the race is on to prevent the return of Madrofh and the ushering in of a slave society over which the Contessa and her debauched acolytes will reign supreme.
