This evocative collection of old photographs, postcards and ephemera vividly captures life as it once was in these North Pembrokeshire towns and the communities that surround them. Aspects of everyday lives, leisure and worship in times gone by are explored. We meet, amongst many, the craftsmen of Duad Valley, join the crowds at the Newport Regatta, and watch the Mauretania in Fishguard in 1909. The volume also looks at local industry, including the ship yards of Newport and the engineering workshops of Fishguard.
