Nancy Beckham was born in New Zealand, but has lived in Australia since 1971. She is a professionally qualified teacher, company secretary, horticulturalist, herbalist, naturopath, homeopath and yoga teacher, and runs her own naturopathic clinic in Oatley, New South Wales. She regularly contributes articles to magazines dealing with alternative health care. Her interests include Vedantic philosophy.
