Nalini Singh was born in Fiji, but moved to New Zealand as a child, where she still calls home. She also lived and worked in Japan for three years. She has had numerous jobs, including factory hand, lawyer, English teacher and librarian. In 2002 she published her first book, Desert Warrior, and hopes to 'continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard'. She is perhaps best known for the Psy-Changeling series.
