Thirty-something marketing consultant Ian Wharton is contemplating murdering his pregnant wife Jane. It's nothing personal, it's just that the child she's carrying in her womb, the one she thinks of as theirs, happens to be The Fat Controller, Ian's devilish former mentor. How he got there isn't important (though Dr Gyggle, Ian's psychiatrist, might disagree), but what he wants from Ian certainly is. However, before Ian decides what to do, he needs to tell you the disturbing story of his life so far, to explain why it's not all his fault and to show you why his idea of having fun really isn't as bad as you think . . .
