But soon by twos and threes, and then four and more, new cats come scratching at Mrs McTats's door, until the house is full to bursting. Even so, Mrs McTats can't help feeling that something - or someone - is missing, but then there is one more scratch on the door and Mrs McTats finds just what the family needs to be complete . . .
