A new edition of Tony Ross' own hilarious interpretation of the popular Grimm story, including a modern "home-alone" take on the story.
When Mrs Goat leaves her kids to go shopping, she specifically warns them not to let in the hungry wolf - but the wolf overhears her. He pretends to be Mrs Goat returning, and asks to be let in. The kids need proof that it is not the wolf outside - they need to hear a squeaky voice, and to see a fluffy tail before the stratagem works. He gobbles up all but one - the littlest kid escapes. He tells his mother what has happened when she returns.
"What! Let me get at him!" she roars. And she butts the interloper until all her kids have shot out of his mouth, and then she sends him right over the trees and away for ever.
