Monday's Child is fair of face . . . only Anna Brown somehow missed out. She's ambitious, she's stylish . . . and she's ugly.

Life is different for women who don't turn heads, and Anna finds herself, at thirty, stuck in a dead-end relationship with a boyfriend who thinks she's lucky to have him. She's under-used her film production company, and struggling for a little self-esteem. The only person who really values her opinion is Brad Frey, owner of the company, and fiancé of another identikit skinny blonde.

But Anna has some assets. When she starts to get noticed at work, a soul-destroying tip to LA, land of the beautiful people, provides her with a windfall. And Anna's going to change some things - starting with her face.

But when she becomes Beauty, will she also be the Beast? And is it possible she could drive away the one man who's believed in her? And the one man she's really fallen for?
