Miss Viola is neat as a pin. Uncle Ed Lee is junky as a pack rat. Opposites these old folks are, through and through. But Uncle Ed Lee is sweet on Miss Viola and wants to become friends. Now how can that be, wonders their young neighbor, Bradley.
In the fine tradition of Cyrano, Bradley lets Miss Viola know how Uncle Ed Lee feels - then he lets Uncle Ed Lee know just how much cleaning up he has to do before Miss Viola will come over and visit. Visit she does, though, to enjoy a game of hearts with Bradley and Uncle Ed Lee.
