When Mary Fallon Delany was just a little girl she would spend hours listening to her mother spin the tales and legends that made up Ireland's history. The story of Ciaran of the Mists, the mythical hero who would return every 300 years to help the people of Ireland, had always been her favorite, and her fascination with Ciaran only intensified when, on her death bed, Mary Fallon's mother handed her a brooch and told her that it held the power to call Ciaran out of the mists.
