Maggie Alderson was born in London, brought up in Staffordshire and educated at the University of St Andrews. She has worked on nine glossy magazines and two newspapers and was editor of ELLE in London and Mode in Sydney. She is now a senior writer with The Sydney Morning Herald and her weekly column 'Style Notes' appears in the Good Weekend. 'At last we've found her, the female Seinfeld.
