During one of his long excursions on the barrier ice Lars meets Flo, a little sledging dog, and rescues him from trouble. Although he's afraid of huskies, Lars decides to help him find his mother - a task full of danger and surprises because his little comrade, lovable but reckless, has a real gift for getting into a fix.
