Linda Chapman was born in Liverpool, and currently resides in a village in Leicestershire with her husband and 3 children. Chapman originally trained to be a teacher before working in theatre as a stage manager. She wrote in her spare time, sending off numerous scripts to publishers trying to get published. She spent 7 years trying to publish her work before she was successful. She has now been writing full-time for over 10 years.Currently, Chapman has written over 175 books, the first being 'Bunny Bonanza' in 1999.
