Cover story- A New Universe. Adapted by Tim McGarry, Trent Dalton's best-selling novel Boy Swallows Universe opens at this year's Brisbane Festival. The coming-of-age story, loosely based on Dalton's own life, is set in Brisbane in the 1980s. Dalton, McGarry, director Sam Strong and actor Joe Klocek, who plays the teenage protagonist Eli Bell, discuss the highly anticipated move from page to stage.
Feature- Film Music. In 2021, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra records Nigel Westlake's soundtrack for the film Blueback, based on the Tim Winton novel, for ABC Classic.
