Li likes looking at the sky and wonders what it's like up there, then she meets Miss Bee and asks if she can help her go to the bright planet she has been looking at. How can they go without a rocket, can they make their big adventure happen, and will they find their way back? AGES: 6 to 12 AUTHOR: Robert Austin lives by the mantra - yes is the answer, now what's the question? Always making and doing several things at the same time, and has been referred to as the real life Caractacus Potts. He spends his time flitting between projects in Scotland, Oxford and France, making weird and wonderful things; never finishing any of them. He's been telling stories for longer than he can remember encouraging young people to have a go at things they thought they couldn't possibly do do. Never stuck for words, he sees the extraordinary in all aspects of life, and has written only technical books thus far. Teaming up with an aspiring illustrator he thought he'd share some of his imagination through books for children. His first book in this genre introduces us to Li SMiss Bee who embark on unlimited adventures; much like the author. Alina Everatt is a half British, half German artist with a BA in Illustration from Falmouth University. She mostly works with inks but loves to try out all types of traditional media. Having grown up in the English countryside, her work is greatly inspired by nature and animals. Her greatest passion is her children's books and bringing her characters and colourful scenes to life for all to enjoy. As well as painting, she enjoys travelling, adventuring by the seaside and baking.
