Following the events of the late 1980s event Zero Hour, which streamlined DC's timelines and chronology, a new version of the Legion of Super-Heroes emerged, ready to take on evil in their 30th century era. Co-written by legendary Legion artist Keith Giffen with the team of Tom and Mary Bierbaum, this new team would re-establish the Legion and move the team forward into new adventures.
