Published to co-incide with the centenary celebrations of Laurie Lee's birth, this is a beautiful folio of artwork by Laurie which has never been seen before.
Laurie Lee, the author of Cider with Rosie, was not only a leading poet and writer but also a prolific artist though his sketches and paintings remained hidden for decades. After his death, his wife Kathy and daughter Jessy found a folder hidden under his bed in his study, the contents of which form this folio.
With a commentary written by Jessy, full of personal memories and wonderful anecdotes, this book provides a glimpse into the world of Laurie Lee and the relationship between this formidable artist and his family.
