As a youngster Lara Gasparotto started photographing her friends in the natural course of their everday lives. Presented here is a collection that captures these young people over a period of several years; images of what seem at first sight, trivial moments, engage the viewer's attention. Moments of chance and intimacy, unpretentiously photographed. Gasparotto deliberately chooses random images depicting spontaneous life-as-it-happens rather than a polished, posed collection. AUTHOR: Lara Gasparotto (born 1989), began taking photos at the age of 16 years old. She enrolled in the School of Photography at Saint-Luc, Liege, where she was a student of Emmanuelle D'Autreppe, Alain Janssens, and Jean Janssis. Since then she has been travelling around the world, working for magazines. She has had exhibitions in Berlin, Paris, Beijing, Brussels, Antwerp, Arles, Breda and Amsterdam. She is represented by the Antwerp Stieglitz 19 Gallery, Belgium. 100 colour and 40 b/w photographs
