Daytime soap actress, Kelly Trent, has garnered wealth, fame and hate-mail with her portrayal of Marla Valentine, the malicious, man-hating diva. She doesn't believe anyone would confuse her with Marla, but when an accident on-set hits too close for the producers' comfort, Kelly's character is put on hold.
In an attempt to salvage her career, Kelly agrees to appear in a music video. It may be just the thing to put her job - and her life - back in perspective. With no talent for dancing, Kelly only hopes her dance instructor, former cop Doug O'Casey, can work miracles . . .
But trouble seems to stalk her. With the murder of several top advice therapists, and two more near fatal "accidents', Doug senses that Kelly is in more danger than she thinks.
As an obsessed killer closes in it seems someone wants more than Kelly's character killed off - someone wants her dead.
