London-based Alex Mackenzie is dreading her Christmas holidays. She’s on her way to a property in outback Australia to visit her father who she hasn’t seen for four years and a stepmother she’s never met. Though her father is stubborn and infuriating, Alex realises she must learn to understand him, and in doing so understand herself.
