Kathryn Smith wanted to be an author since the age of ten, after reading a book by Kathleen Woodiwiss she had 'borrowed' from her sister. She is fascinated with the paranormal and she describes being able to combine that with romance as 'one of the highlights of my life'. Her books do have some connections to each other, but can be read as stand alone books. She was first published in 2001 and has gone on to become a USA Today bestselling author, and also has a following in Australia.
