Sequel to 'Adam's Empire'
The return to Kalinda, a vast desert sheep station in Australia's outback, an empire founded by Adam Ross. Adam is living openly on Kalinda with his voluptuous half-caste lover Nellie. But the visit of his old friend Josef Hoffman, son of a Barossa winegrower, brings trouble in the shape of his companion Sarah Mandleton, a fortune hunter who instantly sets her sights on Adam.
