John Bauer (1882-1918) was one of the most appreciated Swedish artists and illustrators of the early XX century. His artowrks, contemporary to those of Pamela "Pixie" Smnith, brought to life a world of sweet and dark myth and folklore, where fariytales blends with prerafaelite suggestions.
