Billy MacGregor is just crazy about the local kangaroo mob, especially Joey. When the kangaroos are kidnapped, Billy and Joey board the Midnight Express to Sydney in search of Joey's parents. There the two friends must brave the unknown dangers of the big city - and expose the dark secrets of the Kangaroo Kingdom.
